Due to continued growth, we are looking for a dynamic Network Operations Manager to join the team, based at one of their UK Distribution Centres. This role will be key in driving performance improvements, optimising processes, and implementing innovative solutions across the DC network.

The purpose of this role is to partner with the 3PL operational teams to refine planning accuracy, identify continuous improvement opportunities and scale deploying innovation across the network.

This role has a bias towards Warehouse Management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance Management: Lead performance reviews with internal teams and 3PL partners, monitoring safety, people, cost, quality, and customer metrics. Own budget control and initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies and improve standards.

• Operational Process Expertise: Deploy lean processes across the DC and 3PL environments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Use tools like KANBAN to prioritise changes and drive consistency across the network.

• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, holding them accountable for deliverables and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Leadership: Communicate effectively at all levels, leading operational performance discussions and ensuring that business strategies are translated into tactical actions that drive both short- and long-term goals.

Person Specification:

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a Continuous Improvement Warehouse role.
• Strong background in operational performance management and lean operations.
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders, particularly in a 3PL environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Exceptional organisational skills in fast-paced environments.
• Experience working in customer-focused operations.
• Self-starter with a keen eye for detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Self-pickup Point Operation and Cost Control Responsible for the layout and site selection of self-pickup points; coordinate with warehousing and distribution teams to ensure timely goods delivery. Manage inventory at self-pickup points, monitor data throughout the entire self-pickup process, conduct regular reviews and optimize operational plans. Reduce costs in the process by optimizing resource allocation and establish standardized self-pickup business procedures.
2. Customer Service and Experience Optimization Liaise with the customer service team to collect user feedback, formulate rectification measures, promote upgrades to self-pickup services, and track the closure of issues. Effectively control the user complaint rate and improve user satisfaction with self-pickup services.
3. Team Development and Management Lead the self-pickup business team, clarify job responsibilities such as the number of self-pickup points to be expanded, order fulfillment rate, and cost control targets. Organize regular team training to enhance team execution.
4. Promoting System Innovation Collaborate with the technical team to propose optimization requirements for the self-pickup business system, such as efficiency of self-pickup code verification, real-time inventory synchronization, and user arrival reminders, and promote the implementation of digital tools. Research innovative industry models, explore new scenarios for self-pickup services, and enhance business competitiveness.

Job Requirements:

1. Priority is given to majors in logistics, supply chain, data analysis, and urban planning.
2. At least 5 years of experience in managing logistics or self-pickup business teams, with familiarity in site selection, inventory turnover, and distribution coordination.
3. Possess strong structured thinking and cross-departmental coordination skills; able to accurately capture user needs, identify and analyze problems, and formulate solutions.
4. Have excellent data analysis capabilities and proficiency in logistics management systems (e.g., WMS, TMS) as well as tools such as Excel and BI.
