Location: North West (predominantly remote with some travel)
Contract - Outside IR35
Negotiable Rate dependent on experience
We are seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to join our NHS client, specialising in HL7 messaging and InterSystems Ensemble. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting integration solutions that connect critical healthcare systems, ensuring seamless data flow across the trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and support HL7 interfaces using Ensemble
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise integration workflows
- Collaborate with clinical, technical, and supplier teams to deliver robust solutions
- Document and communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven NHS integration experience
- Strong HL7 and InterSystems Ensemble skills
- Experience with API's
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
This is an initial 3 Month contract with a view to extend.

Head of Technical (Engineering compliance) - PFI NHS - Manchester - 75k - 85k plus car/allowance
Based on a large PFI healthcare contract covering 5 sites, you'll be working for the FM company that manages the lifecycle fund, while another company delivers Hard FM.
You will have overall responsibility for technical compliance, leading on the technical disciplines that relate to building infrastructure and mechanical and electrical infrastructure. Developing lifecycle plans, be familiar with CIBSE coding, asset management and be solutions focused.
You will work closely and collaboratively with the other FM business to identify assets that might need replacement, interrogating where necessary their maintenance and PPM regime to ensure they've been maintained in line with HTM's, HBN's, O&M guidance, manufacturers guidelines etc.
You will work with the PM's to validate and approve elements of the lifecycle scheme proposals including technical assessments and solutions, whilst maximising opportunities when developing lifecycle schemes, for example decarbonisation works.
Preferably with an Electrical background in a PFI environment, you will be Chartered or willing to become Chartered with previous AP appointments held in healthcare. You will also have knowledge of mechanical systems and associated compliance.

WSP have an opportunity for an experienced Public Health Engineer, in the north.
To find out more about our Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing business click on the following link and discover what awaits you at WSP: within a mechanical, electrical and public health (MEP) discipline team providing design and technical advice in a WSP project manager capacity on a wide range of projects.
+ Responsible for the delivery of Public Health and Fire Suppression systems designs at all RIBA Stages on projects
+ Supervising the completion of detailed designs and supervise the work of others in this function.
+ Considering the feasibility of the project specific to the discipline and lead the overall feasibility study for the project.
+ Taking responsibility for and direct others in the production of detailed and performance specification for the discipline subject to review by colleagues prior to issue.
+ Taking responsibility for and direct others in the production of detailed equipment schedules for issue with the discipline specific designs.
+ Regularly briefing the project team, explaining the appointment. Ensure contracts / letters of intent are in place for all projects before work begins. Make sure all team members have access to the agreed appointment documents.
+ Reviewing the detailed design programme and ensure that sufficient resource is available to complete the works.
+ Leading the completion and regular amendment to the project 'Cost to Complete' (CTC). Monitor the work of the project engineers and compare weekly against the previously agreed CTC. Flag up any potential 'profit' or 'loss' to your DTL when compared to the agreed fee.
**What we will be looking for you to demonstrate.**
The candidate shall have technical knowledge the following aspects of PH design -
+ Building Water Services Design which includes domestic hot and cold water, greywater recycling and rainwater harvesting.
+ Building Sanitary Drainage Design.
+ Building Surface Water Drainage Design.
+ Building Fire Suppression Systems Design.
+ Building Gas Services Design.
+ Building Medical gas systems design.
+ Must be able to obtain UK vetting level of Security Check (SC)
