What you will be doing:
As a QA, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining food safety, product integrity, and quality standards. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor processes, perform audits, and ensure the products meet customer and legal expectations. Key responsibilities include:

Creating and maintaining clear, audit-ready site and product documentation

Reviewing records in real time for accuracy and completeness

Identifying training needs and supporting continuous improvement

Conducting legal compliance checks on day to day equipment

Performing GMP, Glass & Hard Plastic, and Fabrication audits

Completing Product Evaluation checks to ensure compliance with standards

Sampling, swabbing, and investigations for non-conformances

Acting as an expert on CCPs, weight controls, and food safety procedures

Delivering training and guidance to teams when needed

Day Shift
Monday - Thursday 19:00 - 07:00.
44 hours per week.
Requirements
Lead a team of Production Operatives.
Mentor, develop and grow the team.
Induct and train new members of staff.
Oversee the operation on the night shift.
Previous experience of managing team performance and KPI’s.
Ensure the team are producing quality products.
Increase production efficiency.
Report any machine issues to the engineering department.
Have a hands-on approach to operations.
Process documentation and administration.
Have a strong understanding of Health & Safety.
A strong understanding of IT.
Exceptional organisation and communication skills.
Have previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
You will be required to lead a team, support development within the team and build rapports with new & existing team members to push production forward. You’ll be required to be involved with operations, ensure quality products are being manufactured and have a hands-on approach to ensure deadlines are met. You’ll need to be able to implement progressive ways of working to enhance efficiencies and work closely with other departments within the organisation.

A well-known manufacturer is looking to add to their Night Shift engineering team and are ready to recruit now. This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer who prefers the consistent night shift over a rotating shift pattern.
On the night shift, you will have the opportunity to focus on proactive and planned maintenance and engineering whilst also ensuring production levels are maintained.
Responsibilities for the Night Shift Engineer
- Proactive maintenance and site PMs
- Reactive maintenance and responding to breakdowns quickly
- Working across both electrical and mechanical faults and maintenance
- Working on Engineering projects (e.g. commissioning, installations, relocations)
- Identifying and implementing improvements covering both processes machine output
- Adhering to site Health & safety rules and legislation on site
Requirements for the Night Shift Engineer
- Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject
- Experience working in a Multi skilled role across mechanical and electrical engineering
- Ability to and experience of working to a fast pace, ideally confident in a manufacturing environment.

Role & Responsibilities:
