Role Summary:
You will play a central role within the school's multi-disciplinary team, providing psychological assessments, direct and indirect interventions, consultation, and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and formulate intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapeutic work with pupils (1:1 and group)
- Provide consultation and training to teaching/support staff
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and multidisciplinary planning
- Work closely with families to support pupil wellbeing and outcomes
- Help shape whole-school approaches to mental health and wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
- Experience working with children/young people, ideally within an SEN or school setting
- Strong understanding of neurodiversity, developmental trauma, and mental health presentations
- Excellent communication, report writing, and teamworking skills
