Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments.

Monitor and assess residents' health status, noting any changes and reporting to the healthcare team.

Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and the healthcare team.

Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and eating, as needed.

Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each resident.

What we need from you:

Current registration with the NMC (RGN/RMN & RLDN)

• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with NMC standards and organizational policies.
• Participate in ward rounds, team meetings, and case conferences, contributing to clinical decision-making.
• Advocate for patients' rights and needs, ensuring they receive respectful and dignified care.
• Support the professional development of junior nursing staff and students.

• Valid NMC registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse.
• Proven experience working within adult mental health settings.
• Demonstrable knowledge of therapeutic communication techniques and person-centered care.
• Experience in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
• Strong understanding of mental health legislation and ethical guidelines.
• Excellent observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
