Our home is registered for 70 residents and has a strong nursing team, within the home as well as a supportive Owners.
The ideal person for this position would be one who has strong commercial acumen, a passion for care and quality. Someone who is self sufficient and has able to manage their own home independently (no micro management)
Ideally we would like a nurse manager but would also consider a manager without a pin but who has strong clinical experience of management nursing homes.
Main Responsibilities:
- As a Home Manager you will lead, inspire and engage your team to deliver an quality and personalised care and support to our residents enabling them to live later life well;
- You will be accountable for the commercial and financial performance of the home including occupancy levels and operating profit whilst ensuring regulatory compliance;
- Ensure that all care-plans are person-centred, reviewed and updated regularly;
- Ensure that the Home achieves and remains complaint with regulatory standards and company policie;
- Ensure all members of staff have completed mandatory and specialist training;
- Completing staff appraisals and supervisions , to support their continuous professional development;
- Completing internal and external audits and inspections of the service;
- Carrying out investigations of any alleged misconduct and abuse reported in the service and taking appropriate action
You must be:
