As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the OCI Services deployed in the customer landscape. To be successful in this role you should have knowledge of OCI Services not limiting to Compute, Storage and Network.
Key Responsibilities :
· Configure, Manage and Support various OCI Computer Environments including the OS level administration of all the Virtual Machines.
· Configure, Manage and Support various OCI Storage Services and associated Security Setups including backup, recovery and replication operations.
· Configure, Manage and Support various OCI Network Components covering VCNs, Network Firewall, and WAF, including connectivity to on-premises Data Center via Fastconnect or S-2-S VPN Setups.
· Configure, Manage and Support Oracle Cloud High Availability and Disaster Recovery Setups for various OCI Services including Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Autonomous Databases (ADW/ATP), and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Environments.
· Configure, Manage and Support Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) Setups including SSO Federation with identified IDPs and SPs in the customer landscape.
· Collaborating with Security Architects, DBAs and Application Support Leads to address and fix the identified vulnerabilities.
· Managing the complete infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible toolsets.

The System Administrator will provide operational support, administration, and maintenance of all OSS/BSS servers, including building new servers and maintaining the existing estate of over 600 servers hosting internal and customer facing applications and services.
What will you be doing day-to-day?

Boeing Defence UK is looking for a site specialised **IT System Administrator** based in **Wattisham Airfield, UK** to support the a program IT requirement, specifically delivering bespoke software and devices to a number of MOD sites. This role will also involve contributing to the additional site IT requirements and supporting other focals in the training and End User Support Teams.
Local to site, you will be involved in system integration activities, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of workstations to ensure the we provide our customer the latest material to operate MOD assets. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring Boeing meets its SLA's to the MOD and any risks or failures are managed and escalated in a timely fashion. Mandatory Skills: Linux Admin
Experience: 5-8 Years
• Experience running and maintaining on-premise data centres
• Strong experience with Linux (Ubuntu / Centos)
• Experience enterprise storage including ISCSI and SAN technology
• Prior experience using automation tools (Ansible, Foreman etc)
• Knowledge of IP networking, DNS, and firewalling
• Experience with Python, shell scripts and command-line tools
• Knowledge of containerisation and related orchestration technologies
• Demonstrable experience of remediation projects, ideally within a PCI-DSS certified environment.
• Strong verbal & written communication skills and natural willingness to collaborate across teams and organisations.
• Naturally able & productive with ITSM tools such as Jira, ServiceNow etc.
Great to haves:
• Good knowledge of the various services and capabilities of cloud computing platforms; Ideally AWS
• Hyper-V, Microsoft AD, AAD & VMWare experience
• Experience maintaining OpenStack
• Experience maintaining build system, source code management, TeamCity and GitLab services
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science preferred) or equivalent experience
