Join a leading renewable energy company as an Offshore Wind Turbine Technician Supervisor, based near our operational hub in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK . This critical role involves overseeing a team of skilled technicians responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of offshore wind turbines. You will ensure the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency are met, directly contributing to the reliable generation of clean energy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, specifically within the wind energy sector, coupled with demonstrable leadership experience. Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will be the primary point of contact for on-site technical issues, providing expert guidance and troubleshooting to your team. The supervisor will conduct regular performance reviews, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and champion safety protocols to prevent accidents and minimize downtime. This role requires an individual with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, who can effectively manage resources and motivate a team to achieve ambitious targets. A valid GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certification and offshore survival training are mandatory. You must be comfortable working at heights and in challenging offshore environments.
