This role offers a competitive base salary between £41,000 and £4,000, with additional earnings from performance bonuses and on-call payments bringing the total annual package to approximately 0,000. Plus, there’s a £1 00 retention bonus available after six months of service.
While experience with Oil Boilers and Air Source Heat Pumps is beneficial, it’s not essential for this position.

South West Peninsular Training is a well-established training centre based in South Somerset.
We provide high quality training and assessments to essential trades people, either looking to renew current qualifications or expand scope. We also train completely new entrants to the gas, oil and electric industry.
Qualifications presented at the Centre are relevant to both the Domestic and Commercial sectors of the UK Gas and Oil industries, so applicants for the post are required to hold the relevant skills and experience on the subjects they wish to teach. Prospective candidates must have relevant industry experience and hold valid ACS/OFTEC certification.
Certification for Level 3 Education & Training is an advantage, or the willingness to work towards this in their own time. Successful candidates will also get the opportunity to work towards Assessor qualifications if they do not already hold them.
Qualifications in renewable energies and internal verification are also an advantage.
The applicant does not need to hold all of the above competencies to apply and we will consider applicants who can work within only one of these sectors.
All prospective candidates must be able to carry out their duties impartially and without prejudice. Any applicant must be occupationally competent, confident when addressing a small group of strangers, be punctual, approachable, reliable and smart in appearance.
