Our team provides hydrogeological, contaminated land, and ground engineering services to the energy and resources sector. We work holistically with diverse teams of specialists to provide high-quality, value-driven services that support energy transition, contribute to a range of local and national projects and frameworks, and support the development of critical infrastructure across the UK and Ireland.
In this role, you'll apply your expertise across various critical tasks. You will supervise field investigations essential for contaminated site and hydrogeology studies, encompassing drilling, well construction, testing oversight, groundwater sampling, and water level monitoring. Much of your contribution will be scoping, executing, interpreting, and reporting on aquifer tests, ensuring robust data collection and analysis. You'll also be responsible for preparing high-quality interpretive technical reports that communicate findings, and you'll provide vital hydrogeological assessment and modelling support to our senior team members.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
+ A BSc or MSc degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.
+ Two to five years of experience conducting and reporting on site-based hydrogeological assessments, site investigations, and groundwater monitoring programmes and interpreting and reporting on soil, groundwater, and gas data.
+ A strong commitment to health, safety and environmental protection.
+ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
+ Experience in contributing to or delivering Hydrogeological Risk Assessments and Hydrogeological Impact Assessments is not required, but is highly desirable.
+ Experience in numerical groundwater modelling, or geochemical modelling and hydrochemical analysis is not required but would also be advantageous.

Treasury Settlement Officer - Summary:
- This role is responsible for daily preparation and journal booking of treasury function for Treasury in Finance department. li>Work alongside/in conjunction with other team members and reporting to the Treasury Team Leader to develop the Treasury Team within Finance Department and to ensure all treasury duties are performed in a timely, accurate and safe manner.
Treasury Settlement Officer - What You'll be Doing:

- Produce all company payment documents and bank notices in SAP;
- Payment check procedure: make sure compliant SSI records, correct bank details, no duplicate payments;

- Record daily Margin call movement, produce payment documents accordingly;
- Monitor inwards/outwards payment/Receipt with banks, make sure daily closing balance is in line with required policy;
- Monthly bank statement and check month-end SAP cash balance agreed to bank statement. If error, need to investigate and report variances to line manager;
- Conduct ad hoc monthly treasury analysis;
- Perform other/ad-hoc related duties as reasonably assigned;
- Back-up for role of Treasury Officer:
- Quarterly SOX testing;
- Daily HQ bank loan report;
- Daily HQ margin call report;
- Monthly HQ margin call report;
- Bank account HQ opening request & closing request;
- TMS application;
- Handle payment issues with bank and counterparties and internal departments queries;
- Other Receivable Procedure to follow up on non-receipt of freight and other receivable
Treasury Settlement Officer - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:
- li>Degree level education or equivalent level qualification;
- Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal Mandarin and English;
- Accounting profession qualification desirable – e.g. ACCA or ACA, CIMA; < i>Relevant Treasury / Settlement / Finance related experience is preferable, but Graduates with great academic background could also be considered;
- Familiar with SAP accounting systems (Training will be provided) and Microsoft packages;
- Ability to work independently and under pressure at times;
- Must be good team player and have eyes on details.
