A well established, trusted contractor with a stunning project portfolio and a proven track record in delivering major schemes across a range of industry sectors is seeking to expand their local team with the addition of a Site Manager.
Working to support a site based Project Manager, the successful candidate will be maintaining full visibility on site, be responsible for co-ordinating and monitoring the supply chain in terms of quality control, delivery to project milestones and Health & Safety. There will likely be some live works as part of the contract so it's essential that the Site Manager is well versed in co-ordinating and executing works in a live environment.
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager with a solid Main contracting background, a strong technical aptitude and a proven track record in delivering high quality public sector works to time and budget. In addition to being an established at managing people & processes, it's essential you have a comprehensive understanding of Building regs and the Building safety act, with good IT skills and excellent H & S awareness.
Applications are welcomed from academic or trades backgrounds but an SMSTS, a CSCS Card (Black, White or Gold) and a First aid at work will be essential with Asbestos awareness, Scaffold inspection & Temporary works being advantageous.
