We’re looking for an Operations Lead to safeguard and strengthen the foundations that empower us to scale. As Operations Lead, you will own the operations of the business across multiple dimensions including Strategy, Finance, HR, Compliance, and General Operations. You will manage a team of two direct reports initially, with potential for team growth as the company scales.
We’re looking for someone who is driven, a strategic thinker who can take ownership of our operations whilst executing swiftly on the ground at the same time. Someone that thrives in a continuously changing SaaS environment, brings both structure and adaptability, and is motivated by building scalable foundations for long-term success.
The role includes, but is not limited to:
Strategy
- Lead annual strategic reviews, translating goals into rolling OKRs and roadmaps.
- Manage cross-departmental alignment so business units are moving cohesively.
- Drive investor updates, scalability planning, and performance tracking.
Finance
- Own budget planning, forecasting, and cost optimisation.
- Supervise financial reporting, audits, and tax readiness.
- Support fundraising readiness, maintaining investor-facing data rooms.
- Oversee and execute on payroll, accounts payable, invoicing, credit control and expense management.
HR & Culture
- Lead talent acquisition, onboarding, and continuous development programs.
- Maintain compensation frameworks and benefits programs.
- Embed Atarim’s values and culture into daily operations.
- Manage performance reviews and remote-first team cohesion.
Compliance
- Manage contracts, legal reviews & council, compliance audits, and IP management.
- Ensure ISO, SOC2, GDPR/CCPA compliance.
- Build resilience through risk management and business continuity planning.
General Operations
- Maintain corporate structure and fiscal planning.
- Standardise and enforce SOPs and document management.
- Co-ordinate vendor relationships.
- Oversee the company’s systems stack, prioritising integration and scalability.
- Manage licenses, equipment records, and enforce data governance standards.
Requirements
What We’re Looking ForWhile you may not have direct experience in all of the areas listed, we encourage you to apply if you have a combination of some of these skills alongside a willingness to upskill and expand your wider knowledge.
- Experience: Proven track record in operations, strategy, and project management.
- Strategic Operator: Skilled at balancing long-term vision with tactical execution.
- People-Focused: Experienced in HR, team building, and fostering positive culture.
- Process-Driven: Strong ability to design and implement scalable systems.
- Financial Acumen: Confident in budgeting, reporting, and financial stewardship as well as navigating tools such as Xero, Stripe or Chargebee.
- Data-Oriented: Able to define and use metrics to monitor performance.
- Leadership Skills: Comfortable working with a team, and leading change.
- AI & Tech-Savvy: Leveraging AI in operational processes for speed and innovation. Proficiency with SaaS tools (Jira, Slack, GSuite, etc.) and system integrations.
Bonus Points For
- Experience leading operations in SaaS scale-ups with remote-first/ distributed teams.
- Knowledge of global labour laws and compliance frameworks.
- Certifications in HR (eg, SHRM, CIPD) or Project Management (eg, PMP, PRINCE2).
- Change management and digital transformation experience.

Accountabilities:

- Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools and technologies.
- Excellent listening, consensus-building, and decision-making skills.
- Data-driven approach to decision making.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Summary:
The primary responsibilities center around contract operations and negotiations, particularly within the 340B program.
This role handles contract operations negotiations with clients and is not an analytical role.

Work Location & Schedule:
This is a remote-first role with potential quarterly onsite meetings. Candidates do not need to be local to Rhode Island. Work hours must align with Eastern Standard Time (EST), with minimal flexibility (up to a half hour). If a candidate chooses to travel onsite, it will be at their own expense; travel is not required or reimbursed.
