Your Role:

As an Admissions officer you will oversee all our applications with our estimated partner & Universities. In this role, you will manage a team of Admissions colleagues to ensuring a seamless admissions process while maintaining excellent customer service.

What you will do:

-Oversee the efficient processing of applications and offers, ensuring timely responses to enquiries, interview bookings, and course-related information.

 - Monitor and report on admissions activity, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

- Maintaining communication with the Universities regarding the student offer and admission update

 - Support enrollment strategies, marketing, and outreach events

- Ensure the accuracy and quality of student application records.

- Provide support during key admissions periods, including open days, assessment days, and student enrollment.

- Collaborate with other Team Leaders/Senior management team to ensure full coverage across subject areas and maintain a smooth admissions cycle.

- any other tasks appropriate in this role.

Loughborough University’s Language Centre team of 12 teachers delivers credit-bearing modules and extra-curricular courses to non-specialist students from across the University in French, German, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish, from beginner through to degree level. Our dynamic small-group teaching receives high levels of positive feedback from students, and we are always seeking to improve and evolve.

We are currently looking for a part-time professional educator who will become the third member of the French team from 1st October 2025. The ideal candidate is an experienced and informed practitioner focused on the pedagogy of teaching French as a non-native language.

Applicants to this post will be native or near native speakers of French with a solid pedagogical competence and a track-record of delivering stimulating classes that engage students, actively helping them to achieve positive learning outcomes.

The bulk of our teaching currently takes place weekly on Thursdays and Fridays during university semesters (see ). Many of the slots are currently between 9 am and 2 pm. Days and / or times may change in future to meet the needs of the service.

University Visa & Compliance Admin temp urgently required to work at a University/ Education campus in London (near Canary Wharf).

The role pays 14.94 per hour, for a 37.5 hour week. Working 9am to 5.30pm.

It is totally office based and NOT hybrid.

You will help with the enrolment process of international students. Processing visa documents and inputting details onto the student database.

Prior knowledge and experience of working at a school, college or University is preferred.

The University Visa & Compliance Admin temp will monitor compliance with regulations, in relation to Student Sponsor status. Overseeing the status of all visa-holding students and managing visa advice given to students and staff. As instructed by the Head of Immigration & Visa Compliance.
