Elliott Eggs is a family business based at Bewholme near Hornsea. Please note there is no bus service and therefore own transport is essential. Previous applicants need not apply.

Hours are 2pm until 10pm Monday to Friday with very occasional Saturday work.

We are seeking dedicated workers to join our existing team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This role requires a strong focus on quality control, materials handling, and the ability to perform lifting as necessary. The Packer will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our business and be prepared to learn roles in different areas.

  • Accurately work with team to provide packaging, pack eggs according to order specifications and instruction .
  • Maintain an organised workspace within the building.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a factory packing environment is essential.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting.

General Purpose:

Working within a small team, complete the finishing portion of label production by transforming the product through slitting, rewinding and counting, while doing inspection of the labels. Job Functions:

  • Ability to read and follow work order specifications;
  • Setup and operation of Rewinder Machines using hand tools;
  • Verify size and alignment of rewind rolls;
  • Inspect for quality while machine is operating and adjust as necessary;
  • Quality check all finished products;
  • Label all finished products and package all products in appropriate boxes;
  • Ensure total quality through use of good manufacturing practice and company standard operating procedures;
  • Maintain housekeeping standards;
  • Assist team members as needed;
  • Provide support to meet department and company objectives by performing other duties as assigned following appropriate training.
