Background
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Nurse that’s looking to work in an exceptionally well-run GP surgery in London. This practice has an incredibly eclectic mix of patients from affluent to deprived. The very stable GP Partnership have designed the clinics to best service this population, and as such they have a low number of total patient contacts, appointments are 15-30 minutes long and the clinicians always have an interesting variety of work each day.
Whilst primary care experience would be preferred, it is by no means essential to have to be a part of this multi-disciplined team! This is a highly progressive Teaching Practice for Medical Students and FY2s and are a GP Training Practice with ST3 Registrars. They are well connected and within 5-10 minutes-walk from several tube stations.
Salary – £30,000 - £5,000 full time equivalent salary + 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave + NHS Pension
Location – Vauxhall, London
The surgery –
- Teaching Practice for Medical Students and FY2s
- GP Training Practice with ST3 Registrars.
- Large MDT – including Prescribing Pharmacists, First Contact Physiotherapists, Social Prescriber, Smoking Cessation Advisor, Drug and Alcohol Councillor and strong Nursing team.
- Well established, supportive team with great staff retention (well doctored surgery)
- Affluent population + homeless and refugee patient group
- Incredibly supportive, coherent, and forward-thinking practice!
Your role –
- Part-time requirement – 3 day week (flexible with hours)
- Must work Mondays and Fridays
- Treatment Room Nurse duties – wound care, smears, baby immunisations, etc.
- All pre-booked, face-to-face appointments
- Dedicated admin time
- Primary Care experience preferred but not essential!
- MUST have Nursing experience!

As a Nursery Practitioner Room Leader, your key day-to-day tasks would include:
- Planning of curriculum with room colleagues as per Early Years Foundation Stage
- Planning of early years foundation stage training

- Room Leaders will support the management with leadership of their team in the daily running of the nursery.

- Responsible for company adherence to Banana Moon policies and procedures. Consistently meeting legislative requirements and following education curriculum, delivering standards which ensure the highest possible inspection grading.
