- Support the successful delivery of risk management services in a consistent, professional manner with the aim of exceeding client expectations.
- Implement effective risk management activities to actively reduce risk exposure and uncertainty on projects & programmes.

Requirements:
- A recognised diploma or degree with a qualification in risk management is desirable.

Risk Manager / Senior Risk Manager :

Requirements:
- A recognised diploma or degree or be qualified by experience with a qualification in risk management.
- Experience of working on major infrastructure projects in at least one of the following sectors: Transportation, Energy, or Infrastructure.
- Demonstrate competency with implementing Risk Management processes aligned with ISO31000/ Institute of Risk Management / Association of Project Management methodologies including but not limited to:
- Initiating, developing, and implementing risk management processes.
- Facilitating workshops as part of the overall delivery of the risk process.
- Conducting risk reviews applying qualitative scoring of risks.
- Undertaking Quantitative Risk Analysis techniques.
- Producing appropriate risk management reports to inform decision making.
- Awareness of industry risk management tools such as: ARM, Xactium, Primavera Risk Analysis, SafranRisk, @Risk, Risk Predict!
- An understanding of the Value Management process and how it is applied on projects.
- An understanding of how risk management integrates with other Project Management and Project Controls disciplines including cost estimating, project planning and contract administration.

We are recruiting for an Associate Risk Consultant to join our growing team at either our London, Manchester, Birmingham, or Bristol offices.
As an Associate Risk Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and advising on Risk Management solutions for AECOM's major infrastructure projects across a broad range of sectors.
Working as part of the AECOM Integrated Programme Controls team, the Associate Risk Consultant will need to be comfortable with engaging with senior stakeholders and customers. As the ideal candidate you will have experience working within our primary markets along with having the following preferred experience and qualifications.
+ You will be required to have 5+ years experience in risk management on complex projects and programmes.
+ Bachelor's Degree from a recognised and accredited university or hold a risk management qualification (MOR, APM Risk, IRM)
+ Proven experience and excellent working knowledge gained in a multi-discipline project environment

+ Experience working in flood risk management with local authorities or a combination of public and private sector flood risk management experience.
+ Demonstrable experience of understanding budgets and leading delivery of projects or technical outputs related to flood risk management or sustainable drainage.
+ Understanding of the Flood and Water Management Act 2010, the Land Drainage Act the Planning Practice Guidance: Flood Risk and Coastal Change and its application for management of flood risk for Local Authorities in the UK. Desirable wider knowledge of the regulatory context for planning in the UK.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in supporting and/or mentoring more junior colleagues whilst having the ability to successfully liaise with more senior colleagues when needed.
+ Knowledge and understanding of surface water drainage modelling and Sustainable Drainage Systems.
+ Experience in preparing Local Flood Risk Management Strategies and Strategic Flood Risk Assessments.
+ Demonstrable experience in technical report writing and checking.
