SRG are working with a global pharmaceutical company who are seeking a Operational Support Specialist to join their team. Looking for immediate starters.
Role overview
This is an exciting opportunity to support our clients Clinical Trial Supply Hub. The CTS Hub is a platform that offers single front door access to medicines for use in third party clinical trials serving EU and APAC customers.
The Operational Support Specialist at CTS Hub serves as a vital link connecting customers, internal teams, and supply teams. By ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, this role contributes to excellent service delivery, efficiency, and the continual improvement of core business processes.
This role is designed for an individual who is looking to develop their operational and commercial skills in an above country role. A self-starter who is passionate about ensuring access to medicines to patients across the global who are participating in a clinical trial.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Liaison: serve as a point of contact for customer queries and requests and opportunities, ensuring timely and professional support.
- Process Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for operational processes, SOPs, and workflows.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with supply chain teams to manage set ups, production and delivery schedules and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps, recommend enhancements, and work with relevant teams to implement best practices. optimising productivity and resource utilisation within CTS Hub.
- Operational Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and escalate operational concerns, ensuring effective resolution.
- Stakeholder Communication: Foster open, efficient communication across departments, including PGS, PEBV, sales, and customer service, to support business continuity and customer satisfaction
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: 2+ years in operational support or customer service; pharma, plant or manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with office software; experience with SAP or supply chain systems is advantageous.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong networking, communication, and relationship-building abilities. with a customer-focused mindset.
- Self starter : able to work on their own initiative
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional multitasking, prioritisation, and accuracy in a dynamic setting.
- Proactive Attitude : Anticipates potential challenges and takes initiative to address them before they escalate.

This will be starting on a 6 month contract with a view that it may be long term for the right person.
Reporting to the Plumbing Area Managers the ideal person will be involved in planning and coordinating the work allocation for Engineers. (Training will be provided)
Key Duties:

·Ensure all jobs are planned and coordinated so they run as efficiently as possible.

Apply today to work as an Operational Support Administrator for our client's brand newly built distribution center at one of their sites based in Stanford-Le-Hope (London Thames Gateway)!
The rate of pay is:
- Days £14.58 per hour
- Nights £6.76 per hour (Night Shift Premium included in a basic rate between 22:00-06:00)
Overtime is available and paid at 1.37 per hour.
This is a full-time role working 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts. The shift is rotational, a combination of days or a fixed night shift:
- 6am to 2pm
- 2pm to 10pm
- 10pm to 6am
Applicants must be able to work 2 weekends in a row and then have 2 weekends in a row off (rota given). 30 minutes unpaid break.
Your Time at Work
As an Operational Support Administrator your responsibility will be to:
- Ensure flow of inbound, outbound, and picked goods movement to and from the site in a timely manner
- Support First Line Managers with workforce planning, in line with delivery schedules and site capacity
- Ensure that all site systems are updated accurately and timely to meet site KPI
- Manage bay allocations
- Adhere to the health and safety procedures of the site at all times
- Supporting the site to keep it safe by reporting any unsafe practices
- Liaise with external and internal contacts, including customers and hauliers
- General admin duties as requested by the operation (including note taking, report monitoring, and management of other tasks)
- Monitor and review operational issues and report to First Line Managers or Shift Managers
- Ensure that customer-specific procedures are followed
