- Recognised Social Work qualification (e.g., BA in Social Work, DipSW) and current registration with Social Care Wales.
- Significant post-qualifying experience in children's social care, with a proven track record in managing complex child protection cases.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures relating to children's services in Wales.
- Excellent assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Strong understanding of child development and the impact of trauma.
- Ability to build rapport and work effectively with children, families, and diverse communities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage workload effectively.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and reside in or be able to commute to Cardiff, Wales, UK .
