Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of domiciliary care services, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor high-quality, person-centred care plans for all service users.
- Lead, recruit, train, and supervise a team of care professionals and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, CQC standards, and company policies.
- Manage the operational budget and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders, including local authorities and health professionals.
- Conduct regular service reviews and implement improvements to enhance care quality.
- Manage safeguarding concerns and ensure all incidents are reported and investigated appropriately.
- Promote a positive and supportive work environment for the care team.
- Monitor service performance, client satisfaction, and staff performance.
- Undertake on-call duties as part of a rota to provide out-of-hours support.
- Registered Manager Award (RMA) or NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within social care, specifically with domiciliary or community-based services.
- Thorough understanding of CQC regulations and inspection processes.
- Proven experience in managing staff, budgets, and operational performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using care management software and standard office applications.
- A proactive approach to service improvement and quality assurance.
- Passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
