What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a commercial setting, ideally within the retail sector, with a strong emphasis on data-driven merchandising and proficient analytical skills, along with advanced capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Organised by nature, with a passion for planning.
  • Maintains composure under pressure and can effectively prioritise tasks by identifying and concentrating on the most critical ones.
  • Exceptional communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to ask questions, address delays, or voice concerns when something seems amiss.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Oversee essential timelines (critical path) to ensure that everything, from new product launches to promotions, remains on schedule.
  • Keep important dates current and provide weekly updates on progress to the Commercial team.
  • Create weekly sales and stock reports, identify any issues, and recommend actions to the Merchandise Planners/Head of Merchandising.
  • Track stock levels, manage replenishment, and maintain accurate stock records across various locations while collaborating closely with teams such as the warehouse, store operations, and those responsible for updating store communications.
  • Assist Merchandise Planners in the efficient management of the Promotional calendar, coordinating with other departments to guarantee accurate implementation and communication, ensuring that promotional prices are correctly set up in the system. Provide support for ad-hoc store inquiries related to ranging, stock, and pricing.
  • Offer administrative support to the Merchandising team, which includes managing reports and communicating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Additionally, assist Supply Chain Analysts with order processing as needed.

If the shifts for this role cover hours earlier than 6am or later than 11pm, you will need to be at least 18 years of age.
Position 1: Sunday 10:00 - 18:00, Monday 17:00 - 21:00
Position 2: Sunday 12:00 - 20:00, Tuesday 17:00 - 21:00
Position 3: Sunday 12:00 - 20:00, Tuesday 16:00 - 20:00
Days may vary depending on business needs.

What youll be doing:
Set-up and position our Tu and Habitat brands, along with our entertainment, electrical and stationery ranges, to make them appealing for customers.
Moving products around as trends and seasons change as well as collecting stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15kg) to replenish items across the department
Build great knowledge about our products, services and promotions to help provide recommendations
Working flexibly across the store as required
Always being on-hand to serve our customers brilliantly, supporting with any questions and advice on a wide range of products, and proactively offering help
