We are currently recruiting for a thriving, progressive law firm dedicated to fighting for justice, representing individuals and families inquiries and complex civil litigation cases.
Our clients team are expanding and as such we a seeking a dedicated and motivated Solicitor to join their dynamic and fast-paced Inquiries and Civil Department.
The Role:
We are looking for a Solicitor to handle civil claims involving complex cases, including deaths in custody, clinical negligence and personal injury. The role offers a unique opportunity to be directly involved in high-profile public inquiries.
You will also work autonomously to manage your caseload and ensure the best possible outcomes for clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience in public and fatal accident inquiries while further developing your career.
Key Responsibilities:
- p>Handle civil litigation cases related to deaths in custody, clinical negligence and complex personal injury.

Represent clients in public inquiries and fatal accident inquiries (FAIs).

Engage in court appearances (Sheriff Court or higher) as necessary.

Manage client relationships, ensuring excellent client care and service.

Collaborate with the wider team, while also working independently to achieve case milestones and objectives.

We are keen to talk to candidates that may have:

3+ years PQE in civil litigation, with specific experience in personal injury or clinical negligence.

Exposure to public inquiries and/or fatal accident inquiries is highly desirable.

Experience with court appearances and litigation processes in Scotland.
