**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Global Sales Lead, you will be responsible for formulating and implementing national and global business marketing and development strategies.
This job is part of the Sales function. They are responsible for the design of sales solutions that are presented and sold to potential, new, and existing clients.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
+ Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
+ Establish and manage relationships with key stakeholders. These include business executives, board members, and potential high-profile customers. Develop and present sales pitches for large global pursuits.
+ Partner with clients to gain an understanding of their business goals and objectives. Work together to identify new business opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
+ Act as the main point of contact for the company pricing team. Manage the pricing committee review process for global pursuits.
+ Manage profit and loss for accounts including budget and forecast development, monthly business reviews, and achievement of sales targets.
+ Partner with General Counsel in contract strategy and negotiations for global pursuits. Review and finalize key deal summaries after contract signing.
+ Apply deep knowledge of multiple disciplines, broad industry knowledge, and commercial awareness. Drive financial and functional performance within disciplines and across business.
+ Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Negotiate with senior management, customers, and external parties of divergent interests to reach an agreement of strategic importance while being guided by the business segment and the organization's functional strategy.
+ Conceptualize new methods, techniques, processes, and standards across job disciplines or functions.
+ Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems by applying advanced critical thinking.
**What You'll Need:**
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred with 12-15 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Real Estate license required.
+ Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
+ Ability to exchange sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
+ Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department.
+ In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
+ Expert organizational skills with an unrivaled inquisitive mindset.

We are currently seeking a Global Sales Manager to join our Global Trading & Risk Sales team. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world's most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.
Performance Objectives
+ Responsible for weekly forecast for month/quarter/year
+ Tight coordination with marketing, sales, business development, product and other functions on go to market plan and execution of sales targets
+ Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program
+ Coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals
+ Assigns sales territory to sales personnel
+ Escalation point for sales calls, provides daily coaching to sales team to further develop our sales professionals and progress deals through the process
+ Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist dealers in promoting sales
+ An expert on sales process and coaching sales process for our sales professionals
+ Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns.
+ Represents company at industry association meetings to promote product.
+ Acts as liaison between sales and other departments
+ Holds sales meetings, pipeline reviews, 1:1s and forecast meetings
+ Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
+ Develops and implements new products, processes, standards, or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.
+ Requires communication with leadership.
+ Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders
+ Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
+ Manages a team of experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments.
Competitive Candidate Profile
To be successful, the senior sales professional must have:
+ Proven success in SaaS sales
+ Trading & Risk or Energy experience highly desired
+ 8 or more years sales experience
+ 3 or more years' managing a high performing new business sales team of at least 5 team members
+ This person must thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment and have a humble and genuine curiosity for learning
+ Energetic and collaborative mixed in with a bit of competitiveness
+ Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and committed to prospecting new business
+ Excellent communicator
+ Proven track record of consistent sales growth and quota obtainment
+ Demonstrated ability to conduct a solution-oriented sales process including qualification, buying process, decision makers, budgets, drafting proposals, and closing
+ Results-oriented and works with urgency with a #oneteam mentality
