Package Manager - Internal Works
London - Euston Station and the M25
Job Introduction
As the Package Manager for the Internal Works you will play a leading role in delivering fit out works across multiple assets. You will be accountable for the execution of the works through the full contract lifecycle, from design and preconstruction, through construction, to completion and handover.
As Package Manager you will oversee 11 headhouse assets, working sequentially across the High Speed 2 S1/S2 contract between Euston Station and the M25.
You will develop excellent working relationships with key subcontractors to ensure that the works are completed right first time. Balancing the needs of the organisation and the capability and capacity of the supply chain you will ensure that the works are delivered in an efficient manner.
You will act as a hub point for the delivery of the package, working closely with the asset deliver, technical and commercial teams to ensure the successful execution of the works.
Developing trusting working relations with internal and external stakeholders you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
-Management and Administration of Subcontract Packages related to the construction of the Structural Steel through the full contract lifecycle.
-Be a Safety Leader, reflecting the company values in your behaviours. Ensuring that safety is effectively managed through the full contract lifecycle. Setting clear expectations of you team and challenging where appropriate.
-Managing the completion of the Stage 5 Detailed Design based on the Stage 4 Contractors Design. Ensuring readiness to commence works on site, developing assurance and delivery management plans with the suppliers to meet the contract requirements.
-Working with the asset delivery teams to ensure the effective and efficient execution of the subcontract works.
-Minimise the impact on the Environment. Ensuring compliance to the Environmental policies and contractual requirements. Identify innovations to further minimise the impact of the works.
-Sharing learning for your package of works between assets to ensure continuous improvement, enhancing our value offering.
-Engaging with the in house and subcontract technical teams to obtain specialist support for technical challenges.
-Support the commercial team with the administration of the subcontract. Ensure that the Delivery Managers are maintaining contemporaneous records. Proactively manage risks and opportunities within the subcontract scope. Ensure that the Delivery Managers are fully conversant on the scope of works and attendances to the supply chain so that change can be effectively managed.
-Mentor the Delivery Managers reporting to you, developing their skills and knowledge relevant to the package you are leading.
-Develop trusting relationships with client representatives, communicating effectively and acting with integrity at all times.
-Deliver a quality and assured product to the customer. Establish robust quality management systems and ensure that they are implemented from design, through construction and into handover. Work with client and internal stakeholders to ensure that product expectations are understood and met.
-Provide weekly reports on the status of you subcontract packages.
