Our client, a leading innovator in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand Manager to lead their new initiative focused on sustainable packaging solutions. Based in Norwich, Norfolk, UK , this role is crucial for developing and executing comprehensive brand strategies that resonate with environmentally conscious consumers and drive market penetration for our client's eco-friendly packaging products. You will be responsible for market research, identifying consumer trends, and translating insights into actionable brand plans. This includes defining brand positioning, developing compelling messaging, and overseeing the creative development of marketing materials across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional advertising.
You will work closely with product development, sales, and R&D teams to ensure product innovation aligns with brand objectives and market demands. Managing the brand's P&L, setting budgets, and tracking campaign performance against KPIs are key aspects of this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies for sustainable packaging solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify consumer insights, competitive landscape, and emerging trends.
- Define brand positioning, value proposition, and key messaging.
- Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Manage the brand's P&L, budget allocation, and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with product development, R&D, and sales teams on product innovation and go-to-market strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies and partners.
- Monitor brand performance and market trends, making data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
- Ensure consistent brand representation and messaging across all touchpoints.
- Champion sustainability initiatives within brand communications and marketing efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in brand management within the FMCG sector.
- Demonstrated experience in launching new products or brands.
- Proven understanding of marketing principles, consumer behaviour, and market analysis.
- Experience with sustainability initiatives or brands is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools and CRM software.
