Upholding the highest standards of infection control and professional conduct is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists with all pediatric dental treatments and procedures.
- Provide chairside support, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and maintain the dental surgery, ensuring it is clean, sterile, and equipped for treatments.
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict protocols.
- Take dental impressions and pour models.
- Expose and process dental radiographs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and treatment notes.
- Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene, preventative care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with children of all ages and their guardians.
- Supervise and mentor junior dental nurses, providing guidance and support.
