What the role involves:

As an experienced Paid Media Specialist at IOG, you will be responsible for designing and managing paid campaigns that help us grow brand awareness, drive ecosystem engagement, and support the adoption of our products and services. 

From brand campaigns to supporting always on and events paid social media campaigns, you’ll work closely with our Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to ensure our paid media efforts are strategic, data-driven, and performance-optimized.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for the organization’s paid media agency of record, ensuring clear alignment on campaign goals, performance benchmarks, and budget tracking. The role requires hands-on experience in media planning, interpreting campaign data, and managing media flow charts, along with strong cross-functional collaboration to drive ROI and enhance brand visibility.

This position reports to the External Communications Manager and plays a key role in scaling the organization’s communications and marketing efforts across both existing and emerging audiences.

Campaign strategy & execution 

  • Develop and execute paid media strategies that align with brand, product, and event objectives 
  • Own campaign planning and execution across platforms, including LinkedIn, Meta, and X, while identifying other channels to leverage 
  • Identify target audiences based on company objectives and provide recommendations for tailored messaging 
  • Collaborate with Creative teams to deliver compelling, high-conversion ad assets (static images, videos, carousels, etc.)
  • Manage media budgets, pacing, and forecasting to ensure efficient use of spend and achievement of KPIs

Channel management & optimization

  • Manage day-to-day operations of paid media campaigns, including testing and performance monitoring 
  • Review and approve media plans, channel mix, and campaign optimizations in partnership with the agency
  • Continuously refine targeting strategist based on past performance, latest trends, and changes to company objectives 
  • In collaboration with the External Communications Manager, oversee media agency relationship 

Reporting & insights  

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators while identifying the appropriate metrics we should be measuring for each campaign 
  • Produce quarterly reports to be shared with senior leadership 
  • Provide post-campaign analysis and recommendations for future optimization 
  • Analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations to continuously improve results

Industry creativity 

  • Identify and test new paid media channels and formats, ensuring IOG stays ahead of its competitors, while also attracting new audiences 
  • Explore opportunities for paid partnerships influencer amplification, and performance-based growth marketing tactics
  • Stay up to date with media trends, tools, and technologies, proactively identifying new opportunities to test and scale
  • Ensure campaigns are executed flawlessly and are compliant with brand and legal guidelines

Requirements

Who you are:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital paid media campaigns
  • Strong experience in campaign design across programmatic media, search, and social media 
  • Experience managing and collaborating with media agencies
  • Proficiency in interpreting campaign data and performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Ads Manager, or similar platforms
  • Proven track record of driving measurable results (leads, conversions, ROI) through paid media campaigns 
  • Familiarity working in a distributed team experience, while collaborating across verticals to produce exceptional results
  • Possess an entrepreneurial attitude and a genuine passion for the Web3 space
  • Proven experience managing digital advertising campaigns with a strong understanding of performance marketing 
  • Deep knowledge of Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, X Ads, search engine marketing, programmatic advertising, campaign management dashboards, and DSPs

We’re looking for a Paid Social Lead to own and execute our paid social strategy across Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms. About the Role

The Paid Media Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting on all paid media efforts to drive traffic, lead generation, and revenue. This role will manage digital advertising channels including paid search, display, paid social, and sponsored content. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, campaign management experience, and a test-and-learn mindset to enhance campaign performance and marketing ROI.  

What You’ll Do

Most days in this role usually involve a mix of:

  • Developing and implementing paid media strategies across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and other platforms.
  • Owning campaign setup including UTM tracking, audience segmentation, and bid strategies.
  • Collaborating with Content and Creative teams to produce ad copy, images, and landing pages.
  • Monitoring daily campaign performance.
  • Adjusting targeting, creatives, and bidding to optimize ROI.
  • Using A/B testing frameworks to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identifying underperforming campaigns and providing strategic recommendations for improvement.
  • Partnering with the Operations team to ensure accurate tracking of conversions and attribution.
  • Building regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) including CTR, CPC, CPL, CPA, and ROAS.
  • Presenting results and insights to stakeholders on a regular cadence.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders including Events, Product Marketing, and Regional Teams to align paid campaigns with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Liaising with external agencies or vendors when necessary to support execution and reporting.
  • Staying current on changes to ad platforms, privacy regulations, and digital trends.
  • Introduce new testing strategies or channels to improve reach and efficiency.
  • Making recommendations for budget allocation based on performance data and industry benchmarks.
