Covering – Belfast, Newry & Lisburn
We’re looking for a hands-on part-time P&D Maintenance Engineer to join our team covering Belfast, Newry and Lisburn who will manage and be responsible for Pay and Display machine maintenance. This is a varied, outdoor role where no two days are the same – from attending to machine faults and to undertaking preventative machine maintenance.
What you’ll do
- Maintain and service the Pay & Display machines.
- Respond quickly to and resolve machine faults and ensure service level targets are met.
- Liaise with suppliers and support teams to resolve technical issues.
- A conscientious approach to working in a safe environment.
What you’ll bring
- Practical experience with tools and equipment
- Knowledge of Pay & Display systems (training will be provided, if required)
- A background in customer service or client-facing roles.
- Ability to work outdoors in all conditions, self-motivated and organised.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
- U se of fault reporting tools apps and systems
- Full Drivers Licence

- Oversee and assist in ensuring the internal and external environment of the site is kept to a consistently high standard
- Assist with the general repair of furniture and fittings
- Carry out minor maintenance, plumbing and repair work
- Carry out decorating and redecorating as required
- Ensure the safe handling of any chemicals and equipment in line with Health and Safety regulations
- Manage the weekly fire drill and carry out weekly fire checks
- Carry out audits and inspections according to the Company audit schedule
- Carry out PAT testing of electrical equipment according to compliance standards
- Ensure smooth running of plant machinery and equipment including gas, electric, oil and water installation
- Ensure the Health & Safety of self, colleagues, residents, visitors and contractors
- Promptly report any defaults, defects or damage to the building or property or equipment to the Registered Manager or ‘Person in Charge’ in their absence
- Assist in ensuring the security of the building at all times
- Assist the Registered Manager in liaising with external contractors
