We will provide all the training needed to be a successful Swim Teacher but we also believe that employing people from a mix of employment backgrounds can offer a wider benefit to our team, some of which might be in their first ever job and need more support from their manager and colleagues.
In the role of Assistant Swim Teacher, you will help deliver swimming lessons to customers of all ages and abilities ensuring they feel supported and are achieving their goals. Our centre provides swimming lessons over 7 days a week, to include mornings and evenings, our centre includes a large gym, three studios, large pool space, new soft play facility for up to 150 children, an 11-wall clip and climb facility, an 8-court sports hall, a café and squash courts.

Hours: 3 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)
Requirements
- To assist children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
- To communicate with the children’s parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme
- To assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
- An ability to deal with children and their parents
- Level 1 swimming teaching qualification
- Enhanced DBS check

We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team at the Stour Centre. We are looking for someone to undertake cleaning tasks to a high standard, maintaining our commitment to our customers. You will need to undertake cleaning tasks in all the public and office areas, and must have good attention to detail. You must be able to work with minimum supervision.
Our site includes a large gym, three studios, large pool space, new soft play facility for up to 150 children, an 11-wall clip and climb facility, an 8-court sports hall, a café and squash courts.

Requirements
- To undertake building cleaning at the centre
- To undertake cleaning tasks to a high standard, maintaining our commitment to customers on cleanliness
- To follow all safety policies and operating documents when cleaning the building
- Experience of building cleaning
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work with minimum supervision

We are seeking highly skilled and motivating Fitness Instructors to join our team at Freedom Leisure. The centre includes a large gym, three studios, large pool space, soft play facility for up to 150 children, an 11-wall clip and climb facility, an 8-court sports hall, a café and squash courts.
As industry experts on the front line, the personalities, skills and knowledge of our Fitness Instructors are key to our customers achieving their objectives through providing personalised advice and guidance (both one-to-one and in group exercise classes). To be successful, they must possess outstanding interpersonal and motivational skills, be at least level 2 gym instructor qualified and be insistent on consistently delivering a first-class service.

Requirements
- To assist support the gym users with exercise queries and programs on a day-to-day basis.

- To instruct fitness sessions, at various levels of ability on both a group and individual basis
- Professional related fitness qualification
- Level 2 fitness qualification (minimum)
