Location: Southwell
Hourly rate: £12.64p/h
Working hours: Mon, Tue, Thur, Fri 12pm -4pm and Wed 8am -4pm
Shifts: between Monday - Friday
Contract type: Temporary on going
Start date: 2nd September 2025
We are looking for reliable, friendly and hardworking Part Time School Receptionist to work on a temporary basis at a vibrant and welcoming school community, committed to providing a supportive and nurturing environment for students, staff and visitors. You will be the first point of contact at the busy school reception.
*Please note an Enhanced DBS will be required for school based roles ( we can help you obtain this if you don't have one)*
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and assist pupils, parents, staff and visitors in a professional manner
* Answer incoming calls, take messages and direct calls appropriately
* Managing incoming and outgoing mail deliveries
* Assist with admin tasks including data entry, filling and record keeping * Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
As a Part Time School Receptionist you will have the following skills:
* Previous receptionist or administrative experience is desirable
* Excellent communication skills and customer service
* Work well under pressure
* Reliable, professional and a friendly helpful attitude
* Enhanced DBS may be required for school based roles ( we can help you obtain this if you don't have one)

Requirements
- To teach swimming to children and/or adults as part of the Leisure Centre’s swimming lesson programme, according to qualification, training and experience
- To communicate with the children’s parents/guardians concerning their development, and advise on their progression through the programme
- To assist in the supervision of customers in the swimming pool and surrounds, ensuring their safety and discipline
- Excellent communication skills with a genuine desire to work closely with customers.
- An ability to deal with children and their parents
- Level 2 swimming teaching qualification
