In this role, you’ll be at the heart of keeping The Cadillac Formula 1® Team’s components race-ready. You’ll maintain accurate lifecycle data, track mileage, and verify parts information against technical documentation. From planning allocations to ensure optimal usage, to coordinating repairs, orders, and event logistics, you’ll help ensure every part is where it needs to be, when it needs to be there. You’ll also support race events with build validation, post-event analysis, and contribute to continuous system improvements.
- Ensure component lifecycle data in ERP and lifing systems is accurate and current
- Apply and verify session/event mileage for components in the lifing system
- Log and help resolve data issues by coordinating with Project Delivery, Stores, Build, and Design teams
- Populate and maintain Life Sheets and digital car/event builds using CAD/BOM and team inputs
- Check new and existing component data against drawings, BOMs, and documentation
- Create component allocation plans to optimize lifecycle usage and align with service schedules
- Raise and track shop orders, ensuring timely service and repair of components
- Coordinate component dispatch and return with the Parts Dispatch group, reporting on event deliverables and issues
- Support race events with build validation and post-event data processing, including damage and usage reporting
- Contribute to system improvements, test new features, and maintain process documentation and user guides
