Pastry Chef - Prestigious College
Location: Cambridge
Salary: 30,500 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (rotating early and late shifts, alternate weekends)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent (52 weeks per year)

About the role:
- Preparing a variety of high-quality pastries and desserts for around 500 students, staff, and guests
- Supporting formal events including college banquets, high-end dinners, and special functions
- Working on a rotating shift pattern (early/late) with alternate weekends
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Assisting with menu development and introducing seasonal dessert options
- Collaborating with the Head Chef and wider team to deliver a first-class food service
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a banqueting, hotel, or fine dining environment
- A passion for pastry and a strong eye for detail and presentation
- Food hygiene qualifications and a good understanding of allergen compliance
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork
- Flexibility to work required shifts including weekends
