Job Details:

Responsibilities:

• Laying slabs, kerbs, and block paving to a high standard

Location:  Brentwood, Essex 
Hours: Full-time
Pay: £20–22 per hour (negotiable, based on experience) — weekly pay 

What You’ll Do

• p>Prepare and level ground surfaces: removing debris, grading, compacting, and setting up base layers

• Lay blocks, slabs, paving stones, and curbs—ensuring precise alignment, spacing, and finish

• Cut and shape materials using hand and power tools (e.g., saws, chisels, trowels)

• Repair and maintain existing paved surfaces as required

• Read and follow blueprints or layout plans accurately

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe, tidy job site in line with health and safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in paving, masonry, or hard landscaping roles (such as block paving, granite sets, slabbing)—this reflects typical standards in the industry hrblade.comCV-Library

• Valid CSCS card is essential, along with the right to work in the UK
