Our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding digital agency, is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior PPC Advertising Specialist to join their growing team. This is an office-based role located in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear, UK , offering a vibrant work environment and the opportunity to manage exciting campaigns for a diverse range of clients.
As a Senior PPC Specialist, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, management, and optimization of paid search campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other relevant search engines. Your core focus will be on driving measurable results, including lead generation, sales, and brand awareness, while ensuring maximum return on ad spend (ROAS). You will delve deep into campaign data, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement through meticulous analysis and A/B testing.
Key responsibilities include conducting thorough keyword research, developing effective ad copy, managing bids and budgets, optimizing landing pages, and implementing advanced targeting strategies. You will also be involved in the setup and management of display advertising campaigns and remarketing efforts. This role requires a proactive approach to staying ahead of industry changes, algorithm updates, and emerging best practices in the PPC landscape. You will work collaboratively with other agency departments, including SEO, content, and design, to ensure integrated campaign success. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for achieving exceptional campaign performance.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive PPC strategies for a variety of clients across multiple industries.
- Manage and optimize Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other paid search campaigns to achieve client objectives.
- Conduct in-depth keyword research, competitive analysis, and audience segmentation.
- Write compelling and high-converting ad copy and select appropriate ad extensions.
- Manage campaign budgets effectively and allocate resources to maximize ROAS.
- Perform regular A/B testing on ad copy, landing pages, and targeting parameters.
- Monitor campaign performance daily, identifying and troubleshooting any issues promptly.
- Analyze campaign data using tools like Google Analytics and provide insightful reports to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest PPC trends, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with SEO, content, and web development teams to ensure campaign synergy.
- Provide strategic recommendations for campaign growth and optimization.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing paid search (PPC) campaigns.
- Proven track record of successfully managing significant PPC budgets and achieving performance goals.
- Expertise in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of keyword research, bid management, and campaign optimization techniques.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agency environment.
- Relevant Google Ads certifications are highly desirable.
