**Role Summary:**
We are looking for Consultant Development Managers to work on all subjects across the cycle 2 and 3 AAQ/TOEQ qualificationsand our T levels content and assessments that motivate our learners and ensure accurate graded achievement. **Responsibilities/Typical Tasks**
+ You would be asked to comment constructively on qualification proposals, units and assessments and offer resolutions to any issues that may arise. You will be asked to attend at least one quality assurance meeting, possibly online, on a convenient date.
+ Working alongside the wider qualification development team including expert writers
+ Comment on the appropriateness of sector/subject content within the qualification(s)/unit(s)
+ Contribute to scoping activities to determinethe appropriateness of the proposed qualification(s)
+ Comment on the validity of qualification subject/sector content and sample assessment materials for the subject area.
**Experience and Qualifications Required**
**Qualifications:**

**Essential**
+ Current sector experience/applied subject knowledge with at least two years' experience
+ Good communication skills; good standard of written English and ability to offer constructive feedback clearly and concisely

+ Flexibility to adapt to changing guidelines and attend training as required
**Desirable**

Our client, a prestigious educational institution in London, England, UK , is seeking an experienced and visionary Curriculum Development Lead specializing in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). This senior role is integral to shaping the future of education, focusing on creating innovative, engaging, and relevant STEM curricula that prepare students for the challenges of the 21st century. You will lead a team of curriculum designers and subject matter experts, ensuring that our programs are aligned with industry best practices, cutting-edge research, and future workforce demands. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of STEM education principles, a passion for pedagogical innovation, and a proven ability to manage complex curriculum projects from conception to implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and refinement of comprehensive STEM curricula across all educational levels.
  • Oversee the integration of emerging technologies, research findings, and pedagogical best practices into curriculum frameworks.
  • Manage and mentor a team of curriculum specialists, subject matter experts, and instructional designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Conduct needs assessments and market analyses to identify gaps and opportunities in current STEM education.
  • Develop clear learning objectives, assessment strategies, and pedagogical approaches for all curriculum components.
  • Ensure curriculum content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to current and future industry needs and societal challenges.
  • Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and external stakeholders (e.g., industry professionals, researchers) to gather input and ensure alignment.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for curriculum development initiatives.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality learning materials, including lesson plans, textbooks, digital resources, and interactive modules.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented curricula through feedback mechanisms, data analysis, and student outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of national and international trends in STEM education and higher learning.
  • Present curriculum proposals and progress reports to senior leadership and governing bodies.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in a relevant STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics) or Education with a STEM focus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or educational leadership within STEM education.
  • Proven track record of leading successful curriculum projects and managing teams of professionals.
  • Deep understanding of current pedagogical theories and innovative teaching methodologies in STEM.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience with educational technology tools and platforms that enhance STEM learning.
  • Strong project management capabilities and experience managing budgets.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and build consensus among diverse groups of stakeholders.
