The Director, Human Resources - Filtration is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the global and local Human Resources teams supporting the business unit, specifically in the acquisition and development of talent as well as creating and maintaining a highly productive and engaging culture. This position will provide leadership to approximately 1 900 associates globally. This role will serve as a thought leader and partner in advancing organization capabilities and effectiveness and will drive organization and talent development efforts to meet strategic and annual business objectives . Additionally, the role will focus on developing a culture that facilitates open communication with leadership, advances the associate s' value proposition and educates associates on how they contribute to enterprise-wide goals.
The role reports t o the Cytiva Filtration HR Leader and is part of the R esins, Filtration and Media (RFM) HR team. The role will be based onsite in Portsmouth, Harbourgate (United Kingdom).
What you will do:
Organization Partnership
+ Proactively engage with Operations L2+ people leaders and associates, acting as a thought partner through business, people and organization-related topics. Identify and present organization and talent implications of business strategy and decisions. Act as an advisor to leaders and associates during times of change and partner with the business to develop and implement change management and communication plans.
+ Lead and/or partner on strategic HR projects and initiatives tied to short and long-term Operations objectives.
+ Provide performance improvement, difficult feedback, and other employee relations coaching and guidance to leaders. Lead organization diagnosis processes and metrics focused on talent, organization, capability, and culture effectiveness.
+ Develop regional/local connections with HR partners supporting Operations globally to drive annual talent processes in partnership with Talent Management and Total Rewards.
Talent Pipeline and Development
+ Assess and propose talent acquisition needs; partner with regional/local HR and Talent Management teams to build talent pools, cultivate talent, identify critical capabilities and gaps.
+ Partner with people leaders to assess and create talent development opportunities and facilitate cross-function talent movement and career journeys.
Program Management and Process Improvement
+ Partner with the RFM HR team in development of cross-business unit HR programs and streamlining existing processes across RFM and/or the wider Cytiva enterprise.
+ Analyze HR metrics to drive key business strategies, enhance HR organizational effectiveness, and drive process improvements.
+ Through DBS, identify key HR targets to improve/metrics to analyze and solve business problems that impact organizational effectiveness.
+ Consult with operations' process owners to explore opportunities to optimize productivity utilizing continuous improvement processes (Transactional Process Improvement, Problem Solving Process, Value Stream Mapping, etc.). Act as a change leader for improvements and sustainment .
Who you are
+ Bachelor's degree in industrial/organizational psychology, human resource management, business or related field.
+ At least 10 years of experience in progressive human resources business partnership roles.
+ Experience providing human resources support for manufacturing and operations within the life science industry.
+ Demonstrated experience as a cross-functional partner who collaborates well and can indirectly influence in a matrixed e nvironment .
+ Self-motivated and comfortable operating with minimal direction; thriving in a dynamic environment as a leader driving change and transformation.
+ Mission-driven with high energy and strong levels of perseverance; works toward both individual and team goals. Passionate about data; identifies and influences organization, culture, and talent opportunities.
