The Operations Analyst role

Proserv are seeking a highly skilled Operations Analyst to play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement. You’ll harness data, AI, machine learning, and process optimization to help us work smarter, faster, and better collaborating across departments to ensure projects and operations run seamlessly.

This role can be based with any of our teams within the UK (we have facilities in Great Yarmouth, Cumbernauld, Westhill Aberdeen) or over in Houston, US. Due to the nature of this role, we would require you to be office based, certainly for the first 3-6 months. There would be the opportunity to adopt hybrid working after you have embedded yourself in the role. 

What We Are Looking For
 

Some of the Key Accountabilities for the Operations Analyst:
 

Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyse, and interpret operational data using AI, machine learning, and data science techniques. Create insightful reports and dashboards to guide decision-making. 

Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and implement strategies to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Project Execution: Support operational projects from initiation to completion, providing data-driven insights to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

KPI Management: Monitor, validate, and improve key performance metrics, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, sales, supply chain, engineering, and other teams to align operations with business goals.

Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate process documentation and ensure adherence to internal policies and industry regulations.

Technology Adoption: Recommend and support the implementation of new tools, systems, and technologies to enhance operational performance.
 

Qualifications / Skills & Experience needed for the Operations Analyst
 

Education

  • Degree qualified in relatable subject (Artificial Intelligence, computer science Business analyst).

Experience

    li>Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and process optimization, particularly in a technical or industrial setting.
  • Using AI and/or machine learning to address business issues and drive improvement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL Python and other equivalent data analysis tools (knowledge of industry-specific tools a plus).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to think strategically to improve business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Familiarity with operational management systems, ERP, Engineering and/or project management business solutions(e.g., D-365, Primavera, Solidworks, PDM, etc).
  • Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Ability to work independently, while collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
