Junior Performance Consultant
Who We Are?

We take pride in the work we produce, the clients we work with and the business we are building. We also recently won, “Stand Out Agency of The Year” at the Digital Excellence Awards 2025.
- Our purpose is to help ambitious brands maximise their return on investment through performance marketing.
- Our ambition is to be the go to brand for anyone trying to get more out of their performance marketing.
- Our goal is to realise our purpose & ambitions whilst creating an amazing place to work that is people first.
We are looking for superstars to join us on our journey to becoming the best performance marketing agency in the UK. You can get a feel for who we are here.
The Role:
As a Junior Performance Consultant, you will be supporting on a variety of projects & brands across the HOP portfolio. We don't expect you to bring experience, we offer full training, taking you from zero to hero in the performance marketing space. Once you are trained up (around 3 - 6 months!) you will start to take on your own clients and help on larger brand projects.
The role will be varied but will include:
- Learning about PPC and becoming (overtime!) a subject matter expert.
- Once you have mastered PPC, we will introduce you to Paid Social, where we also want to train you to become best in class!
- Once you are confident in the platforms, you will work on a variety of clients (usually around 4-5 size dependent) where you will be responsible for:
- Building campaigns offline and in platforms
- Optimising campaigns to achieve clients' goals
- Researching new opportunities for clients to hit their goals
- Talking to clients and educating them on what you are doing
- Writing weekly reports and monthly summaries.
- Contributing to strategic performance reviews.
- Meeting clients & building relationships
- Talking to platform experts (e.g. Google, Meta) about best practices & new opportunities etc.
- Getting involved in contributing to the wider agency e.g. knowledge sharing, agency blogs & webinars etc.
As we are a relatively new brand (4 years old!) with a small team (of 10), we see our junior performance consultants progressing rapidly and imagine the role will evolve over time in line with what they are bringing to the business. This will provide significant career growth to successful individuals joining us at this stage.
What We Are Looking For?
- We want you to join us in our mission to revolutionise digital marketing for our clients and become the best performance marketing agency in the UK.
- Experience isn't necessary, we want to bring in people who are passionate about digital marketing and producing work of the highest standard.
- We are looking for people to join us in managing PPC/Paid Social & Display accounts for a wide range of brands.
- We want people who want to make a difference. All of our staff are crucial in the growth of our business, and this is an amazing opportunity to join a fast growing company.
BUT what skills does that mean you are looking for?
- Enthusiasm
- We are looking for people who have a keen interest (and genuine excitement) for a career in performance (ppc, paid social, display) advertising. We don’t need you to be the finished article (we are happy to train you) but showing a keen interest is crucial!
- Communication:
- You need to feel comfortable talking to the team at HOP, clients and more! A large part of the role will involve communication and being personable.
- Natural inquisitiveness:
- Our proposition is all about maximising opportunity, so the ability to think outside the box and question things is crucial.
- A lover of change:
- Unlike a traditional agency, we work on a project basis so being comfortable (and able to manage) a changing client list/workload etc is crucial.
- Analytical:
- Numbers underpin everything in performance marketing, demonstrable experience of analytical skills are required.
- Excel & PowerPoint experience:
- We spend a lot of our time in spreadsheets and “decks”. Feeling comfortable in these is important.
In return we will offer:
- £26,000 starting salary
- Full bespoke HOP training on performance media (PPC, Paid Social & Display)
- Pension contributions
- 25 days holiday (& bank holidays)
- Hybrid Working - 2 days at our office in Farringdon (Tuesday & Thursday)
- Travel time: we don’t want your commute to ruin your balance, so we come in for 9.30 and leave at 4.30/5 on office days.
- Monthly Treats (e.g. spin classes, afternoon tea, chocolate goodies, lunches etc.)
- 6 free therapy sessions a year (at a therapist of your choice!)
