This leading technology developer is urgently seeking a Senior OS Performance Expert to be based at their R+D Centre in Cambridge. You will play a crucial role in the development, optimisation and performance of a new wireless operating system. The Senior OS Performance Expert will be responsible for enhancing system architecture, boosting performance, efficient power usage and heat management. The Senior OS Performance Expert will investigate kernel task scheduling, runtime resource management and OS performance bottlenecks.
Having completed your Masters (or equiv) you will have several years of experience in operating system performance, optimisation and systems optimisation. You will have some programming skills (C++, Python, Java etc.) and have an in-depth understanding of data structures and algorithms. Any experience with wireless OS’s, mobile chip sets, operating systems performance, CPU microarchitecture, systems architecture or power consumption optimisation would be beneficial.
