We're currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Technician to support our client's expanding technical department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily compliance checks across the site
- Inspect and assess products at all stages of production
- Identify and report quality issues to the line manager
- Examine raw materials for consistency and integrity
- Monitor shelf-life testing, record data, and report any failures
- Complete and review production paperwork
- Maintain retention samples
- Calibrate probes as required
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance role
- Background in food manufacturing
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for defects
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Good level of written and spoken English
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Basic IT proficiency
- Confidence and a willingness to learn
