The Role: As a Teaching Assistant at our SEMH School, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of students.
- Assist with the implementation of behavior management strategies and interventions.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance with their learning or social-emotional development.
- Foster positive relationships with students, providing encouragement and guidance as they navigate their educational journey.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH needs, is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
- Willingness to undergo relevant training and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
