- Stay abreast of advancements in process safety technologies, methodologies, and regulatory changes.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on process safety matters to project teams, plant personnel, and management.
- Ensure the mechanical integrity of safety-critical equipment and systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in process safety engineering within the chemical, petrochemical, or oil and gas industries.
- In-depth knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and standards.
- Proven experience conducting PHAs (HAZOP, LOPA) and risk assessments.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and codes (e.g., OSHA PSM, Seveso Directive, COMAH).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in using relevant safety software and modelling tools is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
