Responsibilities:
- Management of Individual PV Case Safety Report (ICSR) from all relevant sources.
- Ensures that safety queries, other significant safety issues and, if applicable, local/global crisis management are performed according to corporate processes and local regulatory authority requirements.

Main Goals & Objectives-
Adecco working in partnership with Bentley Motors are seeking a Functional Safety engineer to join the Electrical Engineering (EE) department.
Reporting to the Functional Manager – Technical Processes, the role is responsible for the Functional Safety facilitation within Electrical Engineering. The role will facilitate all Functional Safety activities across the department according to ISO26262 standards.
The successful colleague will either be in an equivalent Functional Safety role, or within an engineer or technical conformity role looking to use their skills in a different capacity. You will be process driven, an excellent communicator and be able to facilitate complex cross functional safety projects to meet challenging deliverables.
Main Responsibilities-
- Ensuring that relevant vehicle functions are developed in line with ISO 26262, through the application of the Bentley Functional Safety process. This spans the entire engineering development lifecycle; Concept phase, Development phase, Validation Phase and through to End of Life.
- Support Function Owners to scope the technical impact of changes to Functions, Systems and Components as well as leading internal & external reviews, e.g. Hazard Analysis & Risk Assessment reviews, Development Interface Agreements, etc.
- Be the technical point of contact for Functional Safety (ISO26262) within the Electrical Engineering department, developing safety strategies where required
- Perform verification reviews for the work products created in the department to ensure compliance to ISO26262
Skills & Experience
- Ability to communicate at various levels across the company in different forums
- Design and development skills
- Ability to influence colleagues within your area of responsibility
- Ability to solve problems
- Knowledge of Electrical vehicle functions including electronic hardware, software and systems
