The Operator role has numerous skills needing to be demonstrated across our operation departments.
The Operator role is to make, manufacture and deliver work upon customer demand.
Specific departments will include production of sub assembly and making material for final assembly

Cutting and marking material using templates
Following and understanding technical drawings
Using adhesives, solvents and chemicals
Able to use welding machines, large machines and presses
Working in confined spaces and at heights

Examining material to ensure fit for purpose

We are recruiting for Production Operators to work regular days, afternoons and nights at our Client's busy Factory in the Blaenavon area (NP4 9RL).
We are looking for individuals who relish the opportunity to work as part of a team in a factory environment. For the right candidate, there is also an opportunity to move into a permanent position!
Successful candidates will be expected to work regular days, afternoons and nights.
Pay rate as a Production Operative:
- Afternoons - 13.60p/h - 14:30-22:30 Monday till Friday
- Days - 12.36 - 6:30-22:30 Monday till Friday
- Nights - 14.21p/h - 22:30 -06:30 Monday till Friday
- Overtime is available on weekdays and weekends!
- You can work part time or full time.
Your role:
You will be working on the lines where you will be making, packing or picking different types of food products. You will clean the lines after products are finished and if needed you will be asked to prepare a line for the next product. The factory environments can be busy, but your safety comes first and all personal protective equipment will be provided.
Duties as a Production Operative include:
- Producing a quality product
- Supporting the shift leaders to achieve targets according to the production plan
- Complying with all company policies and procedures
- Excellent hygiene and housekeeping of the area
Training Opportunities as a Production Operative:
Full induction training is provided. We also provide multi-skilled training on department-specific equipment such as various production line machinery, processes, and computer systems if the role requires.
