We are working with a Global Pharmaceutical manufacturer who are looking to add a Pharmaceutical Operator to their busy production facility near Runcorn. As a Pharmaceutical Operator, you'll work in a highly regulated cleanroom environment where following procedures is essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Working to a production plan to deliver Aseptically manufactured products
- Assembling raw ingredients for the final production
- Ensuring areas are maintained and cleaned in accordance with standard operating procedures
To be successful in this role, you will have a willingness to work in a highly regulated and cleanroom environment which will involve wearing cleanroom gowns and face masks, ideally with experience of working within a production environment such as pharmaceutical, chemical or food manufacturing.

Production Operative
They are leaders in their sector, producing paper products for blue chip consumer goods. They offer excellent holiday, pension & regular overtime as part of the package.
Production Operative: Main Duties:
1. Unloading the raw materials - FLT training given if required.
2. Loading the raw material in to the process machines.
3. Start up & Shut down of the machinery
4. Ensuring safe & efficient running of the manufacturing process.
5. Full training given.
You will need some manufacturing / process experience.
Hours of work: Average 41.6 hours per week.
Working Days & Nights including some weekends. Flexibility is needed to follow a continental shift pattern.
7 DAYS OFF EVERY 4 WEEKS.

Experience of working in a manual, process driven manufacturing company such as:
Food industry.
FMCG environment.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The preparation, processing and packing of raw materials into finished products
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• E sure that the plant can complete weekly production
• M intain a constant supply of raw materials/ingredients and packaging to the production line
• M ke adjustments to the plant production line machinery and equipment to ensure that maximum production levels are achieved in the most efficient way possible
• R sponsibility for ordering the correct volumes of raw materials and packaging from the Warehouse to meet the daily production plan
• C mpletion of documentation relating to production output levels, quality of finished product and material usage figures
• I direct responsibility for the induction of new and temporary operators allocated to the production team
• R sponsibility for production line adjustments, changeovers, strip downs and re-assembly when changing over product
• D rectly responsible for ensuring that the production line is maintained in a proper and satisfactory condition in order to meet the weekly production plan
• F ll responsibility for completion of all relevant safety checks prior to the commencement of the daily production plan
• R sponsibility for the quality and quantity of the product being produced and packed and the relevant paperwork to support this

• T e job holder is expected to use initiative and judgement in identifying and correcting production faults and stoppages

Requirements
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• A good standard of general education is required in English & Maths
• A sound working knowledge of the food industry with experience of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• A fork lift truck (FLT) licence is an advantage for the lifting and positioning of raw materials and packaging and the removal of waste finished product
