Plant Operator
Start Date - Monday 1st September 2025
22 per hour CIS, 17 per hours PAYE
Didcot, Oxfordshire
We are working on a large project in Didcot, and we are looking a plant operator to join the existing site team. All applicants must be fully experienced and hold either a valid CPCS or NPORS qualification. This is a long term project due to run until June 2027. The ideal applicant will be expected to assist working on the ground when not operating the plant.
As a Plant Operator your duties will involve.
- Digging trenches for deep drainage
- Clearing areas and much away
- Any other associated duties
You must have.
- CPCS or NPORS
- Previous site experience
Standard Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm

Job Description
We're looking for someone with experience working in Anaerobic Digestion or a similar processing environment. The right candidate will be able to drive a Telehandler/front loader and have prior SCADA or DCS experience.
As the Plant Operator, you will be responsible for;
- Carrying out day to day operations of the anaerobic digestion plant.
- Use the SCADA control systems to monitor the process.
- Carrying out front line maintenance, such as greasing, unblocking pumps and oil changes etc
- Feeding fuel into the process using mobile plant such as a telehandler.
- Responding to machine and systems failures
- General site housekeeping, keeping it clean and tidy.
- Ensuring adherence with health & safety.
- Be part of a call out rota
- Knowledge of SCADA/DCS/GMI systems
- Telehandler experience
