22 per hour CIS, 16 per hour PAYE
Ramsgate, Kent
We are working on a large industrial project in Ramsgate, and we are looking for a plant operator to join the existing site team. Applicants must be fully experienced and hold a valid CPCS or NPORS 360 excavator ticket. The position is originally short term holiday cover but could go longer for the right candidate.
As a Plant Operator your duties will involve.
- Digging trenches for deep drainage
- Muck away and soil clearance
- Any other associated duties
You must have.
- CPCS or NPORS
- Relevant civils experience
- Minimum of 2 reference
Standard Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pm

- Record inventory or move product in process

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Plant Operator looking to work with complex process equipment, including steam turbines, high-pressure boilers, and DCS control systems, as part of a skilled and safety-focused operations team.
Responsibilites of a Plant Operator:
- Monitor and operate the plant’s turbine and boiler systems to maintain optimal steam generation. li>Respond to system alarms, faults, or flow/pressure changes as part of planned or emergency maintenance.
- Accurately log operational data, emissions readings, and support daily shift handovers.

we are recruiting for a Plant operator for our Wolverhampton based client who are a metals recycling company who specialise in the recovery of non-ferrous metal. After a successful trial period you will get the opportunity to be a permanent member and progress with the company.
Role of Plant operator
- Operate a B1 counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload metal materials
- Assist with sorting and processing scrap metal around the plant
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leaders to complete daily tasks
- Carry out basic equipment checks before use
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Ensure materials are placed in the correct locations
- Follow all site health and safety procedures at all times
- Report any faults, damages, or safety concerns to management
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
- Support general site operations as needed (e.g. manual handling, tidying, basic maintenance)

- Working hours: 05:30am- 17:30pm(4 on 4 off)
