We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Principal Industrial Process Engineer to join our elite, fully remote team. This is a critical role focused on designing, implementing, and improving complex industrial processes, with a strong emphasis on automation, control systems, and data analytics to drive efficiency, quality, and safety across our global operations. You will be shaping the future of intelligent manufacturing.

- Lead the design and optimization of industrial manufacturing processes, focusing on automation, control systems, and efficiency improvements.
- Develop and implement advanced process control strategies, utilizing PLCs, SCADA systems, and DCS.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and robot integration to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Analyze process data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, developing data-driven solutions.
- Design and commission new production lines and equipment, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including P&IDs, SOPs, and FMEAs.
- Oversee the implementation of new technologies and methodologies in process engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and maintenance, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Mentor and guide junior process engineers, fostering technical expertise and professional growth.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in industrial automation, Industry 4.0 concepts, and manufacturing technologies.
- Ensure all process designs comply with relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and drive a culture of continuous optimization.
- Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial process engineering, with a significant focus on automation and control systems.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex automation solutions (PLC, SCADA, DCS).
- In-depth knowledge of process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Experience with robot integration and advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and quality management principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and experience leading complex engineering projects.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working in a global manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and digital transformation initiatives in manufacturing.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent is a significant asset.
