Job Description
We are seeking a Public Policy Manager for our Integrity Regulation Team to help shape the company's work on content regulation in the EMEA region. You will join a dynamic team that spans Meta's global response to emerging digital regulation in a priority market for the company. A typical public policy manager will advise on the company's response to legislation impacting Meta and partner with Product teams as they adapt to regulatory developments facing the technology sector. Candidates should have a commitment to Meta's mission and share our vision for connecting people and promoting voice.
**Required Skills:**
Public Policy Manager, Integrity Regulation Responsibilities:
1. Support the team's regional efforts to drive company alignment on content regulation strategy, with particular emphasis on the EU Digital Services Act, the UK Online Harms Act, and emerging regulatory frameworks in the region
2. Advise on the company's response to legislation impacting Meta through bill analysis and consultations, developing positions on harmful content, and supporting advocacy strategies
3. Monitor, research, and analyze current and emerging digital regulation issues and trends at the international level, keeping stakeholders across the company informed of trends and developments
4. Advise business and product teams on emerging and new regulation to inform the company's compliance response and guide development of new products and services
5. Manage, coordinate, and participate in cross-functional engagement across the company - including with policy, operations, legal and other teams - to identify priorities and execute operational workstreams related to the company's regulatory response
6. Communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders Meta's positions and policies, industry best practices, and global trends related to content regulation
**Minimum Qualifications:**

7. 10+ years of experience engaging or working in public policy or government institutions, civil society, or advocacy roles related to content and media regulatory issues, human rights, and/or law
8. Knowledge of digital economy and internet policy issues, including policy and intermediary liability topics
9. An understanding of the EU policy-making environment
10. Experience in or working with the technology industry
11. Familiarity with national or international policy proposals or frameworks for addressing harmful content online, including digital regulation frameworks in the EU and UK
12. Experience planning and executing cross-functional initiatives, including partnership with cross-functional teams
13. Demonstrated communication skills
14. Expertise in policy and legislative analysis

15. Advanced Degree in law, policy, communications human rights or relevant areas
16. An understanding of the EU policy-making environment
17. Experience with multi-stakeholder partnerships and negotiation

Based in Congress House, WC1B 3LS
One-year fixed-term, five days (35 hours) a week. Happy to talk about flexible working.
The TUC is looking for a Policy Lead to contribute to our policy development and data analysis across areas including employment rights, labour market and pensions policy
This position has been created to boost the TUC’s policy capacity at a time of significant shifts in the UK labour market. The role will support our response to various new legislation and a rapidly changing economy.
It will suit someone who has highly developed data analysis skills, who is comfortable applying this experience to policy areas including labour markets and pensions.
What key experience, skills, knowledge and understanding do you need?
You will need:
- Experience in analysis of primary and secondary data related to labour market trends and living standards
- Experience initiating and carrying through quantitative research projects
- Confident skills in evaluating and communicating a range of data sources from legal material to quantitative data, and using evidence to inform policy development
