Stafforce is delighted to recruiting for an exciting shipping business in Portsmouth Hampshire, who are looking to add a Port Operations Supervisor to their existing and will be responsible for planning, controlling and executing vessel operations, managing vessel discharges, loading operations, daily plan implementations and hazard identification.
What will I be doing in the role of Port Operative Supervisor?
- Responsible for the management and development of a high performing, safety and productivity driven team.
- Responsible for implementing the daily operations plan, ensuring that operatives are provided with the correct information, instruction, and training to complete the KPI's / SLA's
- Developing and supporting internal team using regular communication and a constructive approach
What you'll bring?
- Relevant certifications in shipping, logistics, or port management.
- A full driving licence
- Tug Master ticket with RORO experience (desirable)
- Safety focused with a proven track record of managing the safety of a large team in a high paced, intensive environment.
- Demonstrable evidence of motivating others, whilst demonstrating energy and enthusiasm.
- Strong IT skills evidenced in an operational environment.
- Able to manage resources to deal with an ever-changing schedule.
What does the package look like?
- Holiday entitlement
- Salary ranging between 35,000 - 40,000 depending on experience
