Purpose of the role:

As Manufacturing Data Analyst you will support the rollout of a Digital Manufacturing strategy. This role will play an important part in enabling Manufacturing Intelligence across the full life cycle: Development, Production, Repair, and Overhaul within the Manufacturing, Assembly & Test organisation.

What you'll do:

  • Implement Manufacturing Intelligence and visualisation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain coding solutions using Python, C#, VBA, SAP GUI Scripting, JavaScript.
  • Build dashboards and reporting solutions with Power BI and Cognos.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Work with IIoT platforms and digital manufacturing systems.
  • Develop and test digital manufacturing systems, ensuring risks are mitigated.

The skills you'll need:

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role within manufacturing, engineering, or defence.
  • Strong coding skills in Python (plus C#, VBA, SAP Scripting, or JavaScript advantageous).
  • Expertise with Power BI and/or Cognos for data visualisation and reporting.
  • Understanding of IIoT platforms and manufacturing data systems.
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into practical, data-driven solutions.
  • Experience in defence, aerospace, or similarly regulated industries is highly desirable.
  • SC clearance preferred (or eligibility to obtain).
