Role Description:
Ganddee is the UK and Ireland's discovery platform connecting shoppers to local second-hand shops, car boot sales, flea markets and thrifting events - think 'Google Maps for thrifting'.
We're building the UK and Ireland's biggest thrifting community. To that end, we're looking for volunteers who share our love for thrifting and circularity.
Living in the UK or Ireland would be ideal for the role given that we're mostly active there.

- Improve our press pack and come up with a strategy to improve Ganddee's press / media coverage

The Role
Focusing on driving business growth in critical areas, this role plays an essential part in shaping and executing the annual marketing and public relations strategies to achieve key objectives and initiatives across the resort. These efforts span online platforms, media relations, broadcast, and print, aimed at enhancing the resort's visibility and revenue performance.
As a key point of contact for the PR agency, the Marketing & PR Specialist will foster strong relationships, contribute to strategic planning, and attend agency meetings. The role also drives the execution of the email marketing strategy, with a focus on segmentation, dynamic personalised content, and marketing automation, ensuring these tools are leveraged to maximise opportunities and strengthen customer engagement.
Specific tasks
Core Responsibilities
- Supporting with the planning, coordination and development of resort-wide yearly plans and activities for Cameron House and Cameron Lodges
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies and initiatives with overall business objectives
- Developing and briefing campaigns or promotions into the business and external agencies or suppliers as required
- Managing the day-to-day PR activity, including agency, media, influencer and resort relations, activity / event co-ordination and planning
- Overseeing and arranging press itineraries and experiences for media visits as well as tours, attendance required as necessary to support the business
- Assisting with the nurturing of partnerships, producing creative briefs from start to finish, ensuring content delivers strong engagement
- Budget management activities including obtaining quotations
- Utilising CRM tools to segment and target customer audiences for personalised campaigns to aid retention and ROI for all marketing activities
- Ownership of the email channel and for developing campaigns to engage customers plus responsibility for the planning and execution of the email strategy from a tactical and automated perspective
- Manage and co-ordinate photography and videography projects
- To report, track activity and communicate results for all relevant campaigns and initiatives, compiling close documents where necessary
- Identifying commercial initiatives and opportunities which will drive exposure and generate revenue
- Actively participate in marketing, PR, commercial and operational meetings where required
- Analysing and reporting on marketing data to influence marketing efforts and audience targeting
- Managing website content and ensuring updates are made in a timely manner
- Analysing KPI's to measure effectiveness of PR campaigns and provide actionable insights
- To report, track activity and communicate results for all relevant campaigns and initiatives
- Reviewing monthly PR reporting and recommending actions
